November 6th, 2009Well here we are back home in Maui after a trip to California & Florida.
Saw some awesome 3-D rides at Universal Studios (Spiderman) and (Shrek) as well as a wild rollercoaster ride which I wl post soon since I bought a DVD of the experience.
Disneyworld on Nov. 1 enjoyed Mickey’s not so scarry Halloween party as well a shooting a cool parade and experienced several rides (Haunted Mansion 3-D) Splash Mountain & Railroad in Frontierland.
West Fest Golden Gate Park
October 25th, 2009Attraction: 42 bands, 3 stages and 26 poster artists. Solar domes, Alternative vehicles, Electric bikes, Native American Tipi Village, Sustainable Living Road Show, Conscious Art Gallery, Light Temple, Holistic Healing Section, Hooper Heaven, Rock’n Green Kids Zone and Eco Village vendors. Narada Michael Walden featuring Vernon Ice Black leading 3,000 guitar players and closing the show with the Hendrix Experience reenactment and Superstar Jam
West Fest in Golden Gate Park was a one day music festival in tribute to the Woodstock Music Festival 40 years ago.

October 23rd, 2009Yesterday I was invited to the Digital Arts Research Center at UCSC.
This was the first day the building was open to the public and so the open house for the Digital Arts & New Media MFA Program took place.
There was a keynote speech by Grant Kester, introductory remarks by, David Yager Dean Arts Division UCSC and numerous student project presentations, some of which will be presented via the Twitter feed on the right of this web page soon.

October 22nd, 2009Here in Santa Cruz California where UC Santa Cruz is celebrating Pixar with a series of events that are action packed, educational & downright fun to attend.
A lecture and film retrospective is taking place Oct 20-23, 2009. Last night I saw a presentation by Mark Henne animation specialist at Pixar on “The Making of Toy Story”, where a sold out crowd learned the whole process of how Pixar Creates their masterpieces.
